Concept and Design Features:
The Greek Art Gallery is envisioned as a striking, large-scale building that embodies simplicity, balance, and grandeur. Upon entering, visitors experience an immediate sense of openness — high ceilings and skylights allow natural light to flood the space, enhancing the gallery’s calm and contemplative atmosphere.
The interior palette features white concrete walls and marble flooring, creating a timeless and minimalist aesthetic that allows the artworks to stand out. At the heart of the gallery lies a central courtyard, connecting visitors with nature and providing a serene moment of pause. The floor plan is designed around this courtyard, with two distinct wings — one housing the gift shop and the other the café — offering spaces for rest and reflection.
The project merges modernist inspiration with the essence of Greek architectural tradition, resulting in a space that feels both monumental and peaceful — a celebration of art, light, and form.
