• Ensure the layout follows the working triangle for practicality and efficiency.

Concept and Design Features:

The Kiama Kitchen draws inspiration from the dramatic green cliffs along the South Coast. The palette centres on natural marble paired with soft green accents, bringing a sense of calm and grounding into the home. The materials feel authentic and timeless, giving the kitchen a warm, coastal familiarity without leaning into cliché.

Functionality was essential. The design is built around the working triangle, making cooking and movement through the space intuitive and efficient. Although practical, the kitchen still feels personal and inviting — a place meant to be used, shared, and lived in, rather than treated like a showpiece.

The overall atmosphere is homey, comfortable, and connected to its location, reflecting both the clients’ lifestyle and the natural beauty of Kiama.
